Does a wireless security system work with this type of WiFi? The short answer is YES, your wireless system will work beautifully with the Low-EMF WiFi. (Though it's worth noting that the most secure systems are hard-wired and don't depend on cellular or WiFi connections. Serious security companies stick strictly to wired connections for maximum speed and reliability!)

How is this different from other low-EMF routers?

Dealing with Cable Company Modems

If your internet provider is Cox, Xfinity, or Spectrum, they likely gave you a "gateway"—a modem with WiFi built directly into it. To avoid the continuously HIGH EMF blasting from their equipment, we highly recommend replacing their unit or disabling its wireless function.
