What Is Havana Syndrome? The CIA Report On Symptoms, Causes and EMF. Yes, Pulsed Electromagnetic Radiation
Havana Syndrome is real. Hundreds of CIA and State Department employees all around the world have been attacked and injured over the last several years—some of them very seriously-reporting painful symptoms.
What kind of powerful weapon has been used to hurt all these Americans? And why haven’t we heard more about it?
In a recently declassified document, which was redacted by the government to protect sensitive information, the Director of National Intelligence and the Deputy Director of The CIA admit that they don’t really know…
But they're almost certain it's firing: Invisible, yet Intense, pulsed electromagnetic frequencies—EMF’s—the same invisible energy that all your digital devices use to communicate.
Look at this from the Havana Syndrome Declassified Report. The black mark-ups cover the words or ideas that have been removed or redacted.
The US Government indicates here that the likely and believable cause of Havana Syndrome is Pulsed Electromagnetic Radio Frequencies.
Pulsed Electromagnetic Radio Frequencies are EMF Radiation or EMF(some call it EMR) that comes from your cellphone, the WiFi and other wireless devices.
I have to make the connection here that the signal from your cellphone is pulsed electromagnetic radio frequencies, EMF. Yep, same thing. But-modulated and pulsed, altered differently-- likely what the Havana Syndrome report is referring to when it says, "various forms of pulsed electromagnetic energy."
They are not specifically talking about cellphone signals or cellphone EMF here, but they are talking about a type of EMF signal(pulsed electromagnetic radiation) "that" . . . (with) nonstandard antennas and techniques”,could be spread or sent “through air for tens to hundreds of meters, and with some loss, through most building materials”- just like cellphone transmitter EMF signals can be sent btw.--for miles and through walls.
As the US Government's redacted declassified Report explains, Havana Syndrome victims including kids. experience painful and continuing symptoms:
- headaches and migraines
- nausea, dizziness and vertigo
- memory loss and other cognitive difficulties and impairment
- fatigue
- anxiety
August says this continually: EMF radiation has a biological effect. There is no doubt. Every person responds differently to the radiation, but the damages can go all the way up to DNA damage.
Many of the Havana Syndrome symptoms like headaches, memory issues and anxiety have also been linked to the pulsed EMF from your cellphone as the cause. So it isn't hard to make the connection that it is indeed a form of EMF that is causing Havana Syndrome.
Studies have linked memory and anxiety and headaches, to the EMF radiation that pulses from digital devices. In fact the author of the Electromagnetic Radiation and Headaches meta-analysis concluded, "Results showed that increasing call duration and mobile phone use in older individuals increased the risk of headache."
NOTE FROM AUGUST: This story highlights the importance of being mindful that wireless energy or EMF radiation really shouldn't be ignored- even though it's invisible and powering all our fun devices, it most definitely has a biological effect.
Of course, we understand the levels would be much, much higher and formed differently in an EMF weapon like those used to make Havana Syndrome victims sick, but the report indicates it is a type of pulsed electromagnetic radiation or EMF.
Reducing the exposure in your home, your child's school, your office and using that cellphone a bit less is really-really a smart idea. Try it and see how you feel!
One of August's favorite ways to limit EMF exposure is right here:
Cat8 Ethernet Cables and adapters let's her and our whole family use our smartphones, laptops and tablets without wireless signal or the EMF radiation that comes with them: The Hard Wired Internet Kit
This recently declassified was co-authored by two extremely high-ranking and highly qualified government officials.
Avril Haines is the Director Of National Intelligence. She is a member of the President’s cabinet, involved in all matters of national security and oversees all intelligence agencies.
David Cohen is the Deputy Director of the CIA and has had a career at the CIA and The U.S. Treasury, mostly focusing on intelligence, technology and national security.
Haines and Cohen put together a group called Experts Panel on Anomalous Health Incidents (AHIs). (How's that for a perfect government name??) AHI’s is their name for what everyone is calling Havana Syndrome. The group went through dozens of briefings and more than 1000 classified documents on a range of scientific, medical, and intelligence topics.
You may have heard of Havana Syndrome, but chances are you’re not quite sure what it’s all about. The name comes from the fact that the attacks were first reported at the American Embassy in Cuba.
Here's what the report's authors say about the origin of Havana Syndrome: EMF
Pulsed electromagnetic energy, particularly in the radio frequency range, plausibly explains the core characteristics, although information gaps exist. There are several plausible pathways involving various forms of pulsed electromagnetic energy, each with its own requirements, limitations, and unknowns. For all the pathways, sources exist that could generate the required stimulus, are concealable, and have moderate power requirements.
In English, that means that EMF's are responsible for the pain and suffering our government employees are experiencing.
Most CIA and State Department personnel have said that Havana syndrome is a harrowing experience
The Washington Post says that since 2016, hundreds of government employees reported similar experiences: “Victims reported the sudden onset of a range of symptoms such as headaches, nausea, memory loss and other cognitive difficulties. The initial cluster of cases confounded medical experts. The condition is characterized by a broad range of unexplained symptoms that include migraines, fatigue, vertigo, anxiety, dizziness, memory lapses and cognitive impairment. Some of those affected have said that they felt as though they were hit by a blast wave or beam of energy. In some cases, the symptoms were intermittent; in others, they persisted and required long-term care. Brain scans later showed tissue damage normally seen in patients with concussions after a bomb blast or car accident.”
Sounds horrible, doesn't it? EMFs so strong that they give you the same kind of injuries seen in bomb blasts and car crashes???
It’s interesting the CIA released a statement early this year that indicated that they had not found evidence that a foreign government was behind the attacks, but still the panel put some fairly definitive information in the declassified report.
What weapon is being used in the attacks? There are many theories. Some say it's what's called a Directed Energy Weapon or DEW. The US has been working on those for years, in fact some are being tested on U.S. Navy ships currently to see if they can bring down incoming missiles or aircraft.
sThere are other theories, including one that says an employees own smartphone could be hijacked and used to deliver the EMFs. But nothing has been proven conclusively.
What's being done for all the hundreds of Havana Syndrome victims?
Just last week, the Biden Administration announced that victims of Havana Syndrome would be awarded up to $187,000 to compensate them for their injuries.
Here are a few other interesting quotes from the previously classified Havana Syndrome document:
"The panel was moved by the experiences of individuals affected by AHIs. (aka Havana Syndrome) They deserve the best possible care, as well as appreciation for their sacrifices. Panelists were also greatly impressed with the many members of the IC and broader US Government with whom they engaged. The panel feels fortunate to have supported their work."
"The signs and symptoms of AHIs are genuine and compelling."
"Some incidents have affected multiple persons in the same space, and clinical samples from a few affected individuals have shown early, transient elevations in biomarkers suggestive of cellular injury to the nervous system. The reported signs and symptoms of AHIs are diverse and may be caused by multiple mechanisms, but no case should be discounted."
(Importantly, the victims are not crazy) "Psychosocial factors alone cannot account for the core characteristics, although they may cause some other incidents or contribute to long-term symptoms. No known psychosocial factors explain the core characteristics, and the incidents exhibiting these characteristics do not fit the majority of criteria used to discern mass sociogenic illness."
(There are really no other plausible causes) "A subset of AHIs cannot be easily explained by known environmental or medical conditions and could be due to external stimuli. Although some signs and symptoms of AHIs are common in known medical conditions, the combination of the four core characteristics is distinctly unusual and unreported elsewhere in the medical literature, and so far have not been associated with a specific neurological abnormality. Several aspects of this unique neurosensory syndrome make it unlikely to be caused by a functional neurological disorder."
"The panel was moved by the experiences of individuals affected by AHIs. They deserve the best possible care, as well as appreciation for their sacrifices. Panelists were also greatly impressed with the many members of the IC and broader US Government with whom they engaged. The panel feels fortunate to have supported their work."
What's Next?
It's interesting that the report indicated that they wanted to develop a set of biomarkers for workers who report problems in the future. Most interesting is a paragraph where one of the few words is "detector." It may be that the panel is suggesting that our people should have some sort of device that can determine if there is strong EMF present. We fully agree.
That's why we have a full line of EMF meters at Tech Wellness. Making those invisible waves visible with a meter takes away all the mystery and guesswork -- and it's very empowering to know exactly what's going on.
If you want to know more about how the Havana Syndrome and what's happened to the victims, this story from 60 Minutes contains a very dramatic account.
And this more recent story shows whats happening to the kids who were victims. Even their children have been targeted in their homes
(Caution, this story is disturbing.)
Finally. We think this story is important for a number of reasons, but the real reason behind sharing it with our community is to say once again that the Information Carrying Radio Waves- (another way of saying the wireless energy from our digital devices) have been proven over the course of many years to have a biological effect.
And remember, exposure is cumulative. Think of it like the slow yet compelling damage from exposing your skin to sun year after year after year- at some point the results of too much become clear. And unlike the sun there's no healthy vitamin D or other positive effects from the EMF radiation coming from devices.
So the dramatic Havana Syndrome really points to the recommendation August has been making since she introduced Tech Wellness:
We need to reduce our exposure to this Tech Toxin and we should be aware of some of the symptoms of Electromagnetic Sensitivity Syndrome (headaches, brain fog, etc.) so that we can stay happy and healthy in this digital world.
